Description
Handmade Stretched Artist Linen
All our stretched canvases and linens are handmade in-house. We use high quality primed linen and Australian timber for the frames. We make all our frames and stretch our canvases in store so we can guarantee they are of a high standard. All the Linens are prepped and sized and ready for oils or acrylic painting.
You can also order Pre-Framed Stretched Artist Linen online as a high quality product at reasonable prices. We make up the floating frame, so that you can see the options and buy them to your specifications. We will prepare the floating frame ensuring that it is easy for you to remove the canvas, complete your artwork and then reassemble it back into the floating frame. Nice and simple.
They can be delivered all over Australia in the sizes that are available in the dropdown list. All other sizes can be made up, but please note that the delivery of the large custom mades can only be delivered within Victoria via an art courier. This is due to the freight size restrictions. We have several preferred art couriers who can provide quotes on request. Just give us a call on 03 5941 6788.

Hand Made Stretched Linen – 4 varieties to choose from:
- Fine Smooth 33×33 Clear Primed 240gsm: a high thread count, very smooth linen ideal for fine work. It can be slightly translucent so needs to be completely covered in top paint in order to reduce shadows showing through.
- Fine Smooth 33×33 White Primed 240gsm: a high thread count very smooth linen ideal for fine work.
- Medium Smooth 16X16 Clear Primed 400gsm: a medium to slightly heavier thread count that still provides a very smooth working surface. This linen is perfect for the artist that likes to show or highlight a bit of raw canvas for artistic purposes.
- Medium Smooth 16X16 White Primed 400gsm: a medium to slightly heavier thread count still giving a very smooth working surface. Ideal for the artist that likes a stronger surface.
